Lotus Boutique Inn & Suites

Staff very friendly. Housekeeper was a very sweet lady. Our room was clean and smelled like Bleach. Sai who worked front desk saved the night by figuring out why the Hot tub was not heating up and fixed. He was an extremely nice guy. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was good and we did not need anything. If that man a raise he deserves it. I will definitely go back again.

Checking in was easy, room had a heavily rusted showerhead so they let us go to another. The moment I laid in the bed to unwind, a roach came crawling across the bed. We brought it up to the front desk. They advised the place had been cleaned and suggested a previous person may have brought more bugs. We were not refunded or discounted for that night. The next night the manager told staff we could upgrade our stay at a 40% discount rate for the 2nd night. I chose the 2nd floor because maybe they didn’t infest that high up, but I was wrong. When we returned to the room that night I was laying down and felt something crawl on my arm. I smacked it and jumped straight up (took the attached photo). Positive: The location was perfect for my intended stay. The size is also a great attribute. Negative: The tile floors were always a little damp/wet and a bit slippery. There is no place to set a suitcase to live out of except the other bed. there were no utensils and dishes in unit. They were available upon request. I did not request.

Pre Booked for Supercross race that was held 2/28. Images are very misleading. I felt scammed. When we arrived at check the front desk lady was VERY nice and accommodating. When checking in there was 4 girls so we booked a Double Queen Oceanside View. We were told that they didn’t have anything because they were sold out. We had already drove 16 hours from Illinois with the understanding per pictures that’s what we were getting. Once get got checked in we wanted to get refreshed before the SX race. No outlets in the bathroom worked. The door looks like it has been tampered with and there in no phone in the room to call front desk. I really don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I feel like future guests – and the owners – should know what this place is like right now. We stayed at Lotus Boutique Inn & Suites. The location is absolutely fantastic: right on the ocean, you walk out and you’re on the beach. The view and access to the ocean are the only reasons I’m giving 3 stars – otherwise this would sadly be a 1-star review. Unfortunately, the condition of the property completely ruins the experience: -Our room was dirty – stains on the walls and door, chipped and cracked areas, and a very worn, corroded door lock. -There was a strong, unpleasant smell in the room that didn’t go away, even after we aired it out. -Common areas and exterior doors are rusty and peeling, the ocean-side wall is crumbling and patched.
