Customer Reviews
Spent 6 days at Lost Gringo RV park and had an awesome time. The RV park is located close to restaurant, stores and the entrance to Big Bend National Park. The WiFi worked great, bathrooms were kept clean and the manager Spoons was very helpful and polite. Next time I’m in Terlingua I will definitely stay again.
We spent 3 days at Los Gringos. We explored Big Bend National Park and other areas. The campground is rugged and we were worried about the people on the hills dogs when first arriving. We met Mr. Spoons who helped us with wifi, picking our site, and assuring us that the dogs would not be an issue. The dogs were kept up the entire time and we enjoyed the beauty and quietness of the area. We saw the milky way for the first time with our naked eyes and enjoyed absolute quiet when sitting out at night. We didn't have any issues with water, sewer, or electricity. We would stay again if we travel through area.
I do not recommend at all. The place is $42. Not worth it. It’s in a bowl of a hill. You hardly get service, if at all. They had no wifi, I asked for assistance l, they gave me password and still did not work. I asked for a refund, they said absolute refunds because they warned about sketchy wifi. But there was no WiFi. No host available only email. Dogs were loose on the lot. It made me have to wait to leave or go outside until they left. The sewage port was sealed tight. Checked several other stations and they had the same issue until I found one that was broken open. Use another location.
This place is the cheapest in town for a reason and yet still highly overpriced! It is a very quiet spot and great star gazing, however your rv is parked right next to a junk yard with broken down rusting cars. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy. I’m not expecting resort type quality, but these bathrooms were seriously neglected. Hair everywhere around the sink and toilet and piles of dirt built up in the corners on the floor. Our electricity cut out in the middle of the night on our first night. We moved spots the second night and had no issues. There is no host on site, the only information you will get is an email with instructions to essentially park wherever. WiFi works half the time, we had no service otherwise. All of these things I mentioned I can live with, especially for a brie
This is the second time I've stayed here. Good for a big rig. Not too flashy. Think dusty parking lot. Hookups worked as they should. There is no cell service in this little canyon. so don't expect it. The wifi was there No password provided. 4 phone calls I made to the number went unanswered. Not a text or anything else. Bathrooms can be smokey, but they are clean.
