This is a very nice campground in a beautiful area. Had some full time residents that are friendly and caused no problems. This campground is minutes away from cripple Creek and close to florissant fossil beds National monument , the only reason I wouldn't give a 5 star rating is that it is an older campground and could use some upgrades

It started off really great. We found a quote online from Frommer's that said this place was great, and we were having a hard time finding anything else, (we were reserving a little late) so after viewing the decent website; we booked here. The email and phone interactions before arrival were pleasant and professional; including some really over the top customer service involving helping us find a place to board our dog for a day when we wanted to do no pet activities and some really essential help when a family emergency caused our adult kids to call many times up at the office - the were patient and understanding and delivered messages without complaint. We enjoyed the short hikes we could do from the campsite; it's a very beautiful area. ||||We stayed at #32, a group campsite. This sit

I love it here. Ive been here almost 2 months and absolutely no one has bothered me yet I have made several friends. I feal safe and my dogs, no worries.I love having my coffee in the morning and watching the wildlife near my yard. There is a little bit everything out here that adds to the peacefulness.they are getting work done on things that they need to and if the rest of people would take care of things then everything out here would last so much longer. I would recommend this campground to anyone. the spaces are huge and all the amenities are here.

Beautiful campground and views. Bobby and team are super friendly and helpful. Bobby certainly adds to the fun experience.Ours was a family trip and our girls really enjoyed playing with the local kiddos. Certainly not for the camping purists but folk are friendly and it’s reasonably priced. Toilet and shower accommodations are somewhat basic but do the trick. A tip for hot summer days- try and get a campsite against the southern hill as there’s little shade on the northern side and can get hot in summer. Me and my 2 girls really enjoy this place. My wife likes the finer/nicer things and it’s not her favorite place. If your after Aspen prices, service and facilities then this place Likely isn’t for you. But if your relaxed and enjoy beautiful views, different/fun characters then you’ll

Me, my brother, and my dad stayed there for a night. We were desperate for a place and it was perfect on google. The people were nice and the views were great. I am very used to backpacking, hiking for days and pitching hammock at night, so staying in a campground/ RV park is less awesome to me. Got to say though their firewood felt a bit overpriced. It felt more like a neighborhood than campground too, though that's to be expected at a RV park. If I were to change one thing, it would be the bathrooms. I'm a girl and even I prefer going in the woods than those toilets. Needs some cleaning once in a while. I've seen messy bathrooms but nothing like this before. Other than that though, just wasn't my feel for a get-a-way or campground. Nice people but when people are so close and don't cl
