Loon Lodge on Lake Superior

We are repeat customers because we enjoy our stay at Loon Lodge so much. The house feels like a home away from home. Conveniently located near all the hiking trails we like to hike on. The house has really nice appliances, comfortable furniture and magnificent views.

This is a fantastic place to rest and relax after a day of hiking around and otherwise exploring the surrounding area. Everything we could have possibly needed was supplied and the manual about how everything works made it easy to move right in and be comfortable. And the owner is very responsive if there is any reason to make contact at any time in the process from booking on. The views are great from all three levels and there is plenty of room to spread out and get some alone time if you're in a bigger group. Definitely recommend staying here.

We rented for 3 nights and it was amazing. A magnificent roomy deck overlooking Lake Superior, beautiful views (especially sunrises), beautiful unit with log furniture and thoughtful amenities throughout – even blankets to cozy up in. We have timeshares and have rented places for over 35 years and have rarely had such a well-stocked kitchen. All the appliances you could ask for, coffee supplies (and hot chocolate for non-coffee drinkers), and basic spices to boot. We’ll definitely be back!

The North Shore is one of our favorite places to travel to. Loon Lodge on Lake Superior adds to our enjoyment. Rick does a great job hosting us, the property is always clean and well taken care of offering everything we require. The area is exactly what we come to the North Shore to see and do. The view of Lake Superior from the deck is so beautiful. There are hiking trails near by as well as restaurants. The 4 bedroom condo is exactly what we require for group. It is a highlight for us every year. We have been coming to Loon Lodge now for more than 6 years and look forward to our stay at Loon Lodge every year. We would recommend this property for anyone! Spacious home with great views of Lake Superior! The 3 levels provide everyone with lots of room to have their own space and relax. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies to make your own meals if you choose. The house is clean and well maintained. We have enjoyed our time here the past several years and look forward to this trip with family (& our dog) every year!
