Laughlin River Lodge

I stayed here for the first time with my pool league. The rooms were nice and I had a great view of the river. The reason why I have 3 stars for the rooms is there is not a room safe, there are no USB outlets only one on the back of the clock, they do not provide a hairdryer and the shower tub does not have non-slip surface. I was very cautious while showering because it was so slippery and I'm in shape with good balance. It's just a matter of time before someone in their twilight years who's not so stable to slip and break a hip. It will be a lawsuit. My suggestion is to please put some kind of non-slip grip in the tubs. Besides all that they have a great souvenir/novelty store. It's pretty big and there is a good variety of things to buy. Positive: As I've always stayed at the harrahs, it has become way too crowded over the years. This hotel is excellent. No crazy crowds getting into or out of the elevators. Negative: Our only problem was that our initial room had water on the carpet and our toiletries were wet and it smelled humid/moldy. They did fix the problem by moving us into another room. No hassle.

I absolutely love playing here, they've got all the different types of dottys inside like bourbon street, la villita, etc all under the same roof.🙂 the regular Dottys is my absolute favorite tho because when your inside playing the machines the surrounding walls are floor to roof windows overlooking the Colorado River where it separates Nevada and Arizona. Great atmosphere and good playing Slots is why I love to come here 😁 not to mention the super cool gift shop that sells all kinds of different types of rocks, stones, gems, etc. Geodes, polished , shaped, all types of stuff to check out and admire. I always buy a variety of my favorite stones and geodes because you would not believe how inexpensive the prices are!!! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Luckily, we only booked one night. In the rooms, they had a tube TV with very few channels and no refrigerator despite the large room size. TV cabinet is more than a little worn. |We played a bit in the casino to get a couple of free beers but not sure it was worth it as the slots were paying out at all. |No restaurant to speak of. |Stay some place else. I gave it 2 stars. You get what you pay for.

Brett, who leads the graveyard shift at Dotty’s during the week, is truly outstanding. He consistently ensures the team has everything needed, is quick to address any issues, and maintains a high level of cleanliness throughout the shift. When he’s not on duty, the energy in the room noticeably drops, and the overall cleanliness and attention to detail are not the same. The other staff members seem less engaged in maintaining the same level of focus or atmosphere. Brett is not only efficient but also brings a great sense of humor and a genuine attitude to his work. His promptness and dedication truly deserve recognition.
