I want to start by saying that I am extremely grateful to the managers and maintenance crew for their outpouring of love and support during my visit and stay. To make a long story short, I was sorely unprepared to tent camp and misjudged the weather. Traveling by a motorcycle and with limited supplies and a delusional vision to sleep in a tent; on the verge of becoming hypothermic, I reached out to management and ask them for a blanket. They ended up helping by upgrading me into a cabin so that I could stay warm throughout the night. This KOA will go above and beyond to keep you safe and comfortable throughout your stay. You can expect a friendly and warm hospitable environment. And a friendly smile. They were available at all times if I ever had a question. At the KOA, there are good am

I had such a wonderful visit to this campground! Things are quiet this time of year which makes it the perfect opportunity to enjoy the cooler weather and beautiful Pine trees. The property is well managed by Yery and everyone goes above and beyond to help! This is the perfect getaway for anyone looking to unplug and just be present to take in all the natural beauty! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the Lake Tahoe KOA! The staff is incredibly friendly, and quiet hours are well enforced, making it peaceful and relaxing. The campsites are beautifully shaded under the trees, and the heated pool is a wonderful bonus. Bathrooms are spotless, and having managers on call 24/7 made us feel safe and cared for. It’s the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy quality time with family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a clean, family oriented campground.

We absolutely loved our stay at KOA Tahoe...it’s hands-down our favorite campsite! When we camp in Tahoe, we want the rustic feel of being in the mountains, but still appreciate the nice amenities, and this place nails that balance. The hosts are truly amazing. They are some of the hardest-working, friendliest people we’ve ever met, and they go above and beyond to help. Some reviews mention that the sites can be a little tight, but the hosts are always ready to guide you in. Honestly, the towering trees are what make this campground so beautiful, so if it takes a little extra maneuvering, it’s absolutely worth it. The location is excellent, the ambiance is incredible, and there’s even a cute pool on site for cooling off. Everything about this campground—from the setting to the staff—make

We’ve camped at the KOA in South Lake Tahoe seven times over the last two years, and each stay just keeps getting better and better. The camp hosts are extremely helpful, and check-in is always quick and easy. They consistently go the extra mile to make sure guests are taken care of. On our last trip, we had an issue with a tire and didn’t have the right tools. Without hesitation, the camp host came out with his own personal tools to help us get the job done—something you don’t experience everywhere. That level of service really stands out. The campground is well-maintained, the staff is friendly, and it’s clear they care about making your stay enjoyable. We definitely recommend this KOA to anyone looking for a great camping experience in South Lake Tahoe.
