La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Madison American Center

Title says it all. Located in a business park so on a Friday night/ weekend, pretty empty. No food nearby and surrounded by highway interchanges. Food delivery very good and fast. Pizza Hut pizza was still hot and melty on arrival. King Suite was nice, minimally appointed, but thankfully had a solid door to shut between the bedroom and 'living area' as there were kid's sports teams staying there with lots of enthusiasm. Thankfully parents, coaches have them a curfew and 10pm was all quiet on the mid west front. Charging stations/plugins were sadly dated and few. TV selections only 2 menu screens of items, no local channels, Direct TV only. Large lounge and eating area with open self serve be Rajasthan area. This hotel is overall a great value for the money and an excellent location. Easy parking and the carts to bring your luggage in our essential. I love that there’s an elevator. The breakfast is just so so. We bring our dog when we travel and can stay with him at the hotel for free, which is the best part!

Hotel was ok but showing it's age. Some walls had damage from chairs. Tub needs new caulking. Breakfast was ok. They had eggs, sausage, biscuits. Pancake and waffle maker. Bread and English muffins for toasting.

I’m currently staying at La Quinta Inn tonight, and the experience has been excellent—largely thanks to Sam at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, Sam has been incredibly helpful, kind, and extremely professional. Check-in was quick and smooth, and he made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable night. What really stood out, though, was Sam’s kindness toward my pregnant wife. She was struggling with heartburn late in the evening, and even though it was after hours, Sam went out of his way to get her a cup of milk. That small act of care made a huge difference, and we were both deeply grateful. He’s an exceptional representative of the hotel, and his service has made our visit that much better. If you come to La Quinta Inn be sure to ask for Sam!!

We went to Sun Prairie for a quick overnight trip to visit family. We had a good stay at the La Quinta. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was pretty comfortable although the bathtub needs to be remodeled and the office chair replaced. Overall, we're satisfied with the stay and we would consider this location again for our next trip to Sun Prairie.
