La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lakeland East

This hotel was more than $100 less than other hotels in the area. Check-in was very good. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. A/C worked. Excellent value for money!

Positive: The staff was very processional, courteous and approachable and quick to meet my needs or questions asked. Negative: The hotel was ?overcrowded?. With 95% plus occupancy, the common areas are difficult to keep clean, the day crew were excellent but the hotel could benefit from a evening/night cleaning attendant

The outside looked very nice which was deceiving. We drove 2 1/2 hrs to go to a wedding in Lakeland. The inside was old, very dirty and damaged. If it wasn’t late we would never have stayed!

Let me start by saying when I first walked in it looked like an old nursing home, but when I made it to my room it was actually exceptional for my family of 4. I was met with a pleasant surprise in the restroom, someone urinated in the toilet I hope it was a dude cause there was no toilet paper with it lol but yeah gross. My neighbors were up screaming and yelling about their lives at about 8am till checkout and the breakfast situation felt like school lunch. Why do I need a ticket to come down and have a bagel 😐 they also took part of my deposit for marker on the sheet that wasn't there I'm sure housekeeping had something to do with that she looks like a hot Cheetos and coke for breakfast type. But yeah the rooms are ok but they might find a way to keep your deposit they have to afford th

Drove 8 house to find out the elevator is broken. I was told the only room available is on the third floor. Carried all our luggage up the stairs and get to our room only to find out wall are paper thin. The the big surprise the toilet steels so loud it wakes you up. It has a slow leave and when the toilet is flushed or fills it's squealing. Don't know if the battery in the smoke alarm that needs to be changed is in the hall or another room. But you get to hear it all the time. Oh by the way not one use port in the room so bring a plug is your willing to stay.
