Things started off shaky with this location right at check-in. Like most (all?) La Quinta locations, they charge a $25 pet fee. However, this location presents guests with a form at check-in stating that while the fee is $25, it could go "up to $75." It's unclear what this even means, but it comes across as deceptive.||Walking down the hall to my room I noted that the halls smelled a bit of paint and dampness, but this seems to be the norm for La Quintas in the region. The room itself also smelled a bit musty and had a few issues. The rooms are very, very dark. The bathroom door handle worked, but was partially broken (bent outward when you pushed down on the handle). The room was nice and clean. Loved the full size Dove products. Sheila in the kitchen had the best eggs ever for breakfast and kept the area so nice, clean and stocked! Overall a great stay!!

Everything decent online was $400 which would have been crazy for the 6 hours we planed to stay and get back on the road. At random we pulled off the highway so we could do a better search of the area and happened into the parking lot of this hotel. My husband said this will be fine for a few hours so I said screw it im just going old school and walked inside without a reservation. First off the lobby was spotless. The cleaning ladies need a raise. Heck I found out you can even have animals in there and it was still clean as could be. They had one room and it was $99 plus tax. The cleanliness extended to the
