La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Knoxville East

Let's talk about this hotel. La Quinta is usually pretty good hotel wise and for the main purpose it's fine but you don't just pick a hotel based on the fact that it's a place to sleep. Amenities matter.||First the room. Our suite was comfortable. The bed was fine. However there were ants and lady bugs in the room. Actually the room was the best part of the whole stay.||Breakfast was functional but they had the same thing every day I was here and a limited service on Christmas Day. I get that you want to give the person who normally does it the day off but there should at least be the full service...not that it's hard to reheat cooked sausage, biscuits and make instant gravy and put out some Cream Cheese for the bagels.||Of the other amenities...they have a pool...but it was only oper

Stopped here during a road trip for a few hours of sleep. Wasn't really sure what we were getting ourselves into, but then who cared, as we only planned to sleep for just a few hours. Wow, what a pleasant surprise. Checked in at 1:30 in the morning and felt totally safe. Place was very clean, beds were comfortable, nice quick breakfast the next morning. Definitely would recommend staying here, and I could have stayed another night

I booked a room for my son who is Autistic and wanted to just go swimming in the pool for his bd. I paid upfront in booking.com and when I showed up to get the room he added another $100 for deposit and would not refund my money for the room. I already stressed this was literally the last dollar I had to my name and needed this money back for my sons bd and he laughed at me. Told me to call corp

Positive: Location near the freeway and gas and restaurants was great! It was quiet since we stayed on a Thursday night and it didn't even appear to be 50% occupied. Negative: Mattress was rather soft. Ok for one night though. Although there was a vent in the bathroom, there was no bathroom fan available, so the bathroom got steamy when hot showers were taken. Upholstered chair in the room was stained.

The rooms are pretty nice although a bit awkward. I can't figure out how to watch the television. I works mind you but it's a smart TV with no instructions. I've been stuck watching Tubi for 2 days. I would consider staying again due to the fact that I was allowed to check in early. That was very much appreciated after a very long drive.
