La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Grand Junction

Positive: Amble parking Negative: Cleanliness of room, found items on the floor from prior guests; hair clips on the carpet. Refrigerator didn’t work, staff member didn’t offer any resolution.

I really love the look and coziness of the room and lobby. The over all feeling of this place is beautiful comfy and welcoming! I only reduced my stars by one because I had such a hard time sleeping between the loud sound of the flushing of toilets in the rooms around me, (these toilets are really loud for some reason) and the heater/cooler also makes rattling sounds so it makes it hard to sleep with all of these noises. For me this room is a place to hangout during the day too but if I was just sleeping at my hotel and had to choose; I’m not sure this would be the best fit, especially if I was needing a good nights sleep for an important event or meeting.

You can tell they have tried to make some updates. The lobby is tastefully decorated and clean. The room was clean. The bed was extremely uncomfortable...neither my husband or I slept. I think sleeping in the truck would have been more restful. The breakfast options left a lot to be desired..we skipped eating anything. Overall, we would have been better looking for other accommodations.

Stay at the Econolodge. Way cheaper and probably better than here. This place might seem clean and taken care of on the surface. But most of the details in the bedroom made my stay a very miserable night. 1. The a/c went off at all times. Do you know how loud it is? It was not a normal a/c, it was loud to the point of disrupting sleep. I was not able to fall sleep at all. The only way to make it stop was to unplug it (the option to have the fan off was disabled). But that means the room would be freezing. 2. The pillows were old and lumpy. When was the last time the pillows were changed? Seemed like minimum two years. 3. The mattress had one huge urine stain. How disgusting. How dare you make people sleep on stained mattresses? 4. Bathroom had stains on the doors (seemed like dirt,) they

The room was clean. Service and staff were friendly and consistent. The breakfast was tasty and had a good variety. TV, mini-fridge, microwave in rooms. Pool was nice. Free and lots of parking. Lively atmosphere. Excellent value. The one thing I will say to look out for is the traffic noise. Can get a little noisy at night. This is a great hotel to stay at, and I was very happy with it.
