La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Gainesville

We had an amazing stay! The location could not have been more perfect—just minutes from the casino we visited, which made the whole trip effortless and fun without worrying about long drives or parking. The hotel itself was spotless from check-in to check-out; you can tell cleanliness is a top priority here. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming—genuinely kind, helpful, and always smiling. It felt comfortable, safe, and well cared for the entire stay. If you’re looking for a clean, convenient place with great service near the casino, this hotel is a no-brainer. We’ll definitely be back.

We recently stayed at the La Quinta in Gainesville on a cross-country trip with our cats. While the hotel was pet-friendly, it was really run down compared to other La Quintas where we’ve stayed. Our room was very spacious but the carpets had all different kind of stains; the two seats at the table were so disgustingly dirty we never sat down; and the leather chair at the desk was ripped in several different places. The furniture and cabinetry in the room was chipped, fading and all marked up. It also looked like it was furnished through a yard sale – nothing seemed to match. Very strange, but there were no vanity lights over the bathroom mirror either. Thankfully, the bed and linens as well as the towels and bathroom seemed very clean. Positive: They staff was great! Negative: The hotel had a strange smell. When we got to our room the oder was so bad we requested a different room. The clerk changed our room but it still had a storage smell not as bad as the first room. I went to store and bought cleaning supplies it was better.

Anik and Amy went above and beyond to make our stay one of the very best we have ever had! The room was so nice and clean, they helped us with things we needed like paper dishes and utensils and what really was the icing on the cake…is how kind they were to help accommodate my son with special needs!! This night started out to be a difficult one but they gave their hearts and excellent service, and it truly blessed us! Also this location is right off the Interstate so it’s easy to find. You will be glad you booked. This is not my first stay and if given the opportunity, it won’t be my last 😊 Hands down 5 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

We brought in the New Year at La Quinta in Gainesville, and it was a wonderful experience. Ms. Amy greeted us with her warm smile and friendly personality every time we visited, making us feel truly valued. Ms. Venita consistently served breakfast that was hot, delicious, and cooked to perfection, all while keeping the dining area spotless. She was always attentive, asking if we needed anything or if she could assist us. I tell everyone: if you're staying overnight at the casino, be sure to make your reservation at La Quinta you’ll appreciate the exceptional service and welcoming atmosphere.
