Gainesville Inn

It is what it is. I was very tired and looking for a cheap room to lay my head down and that’s what I got. What I didn’t expect were the smells (in the bed sheets and room in general), cigarette burns in the sheets, and overall stickiness on the floor and on remote. As soon as I checked out the room, I asked for a refund as I would be willing to pay more for comfort someplace else, but they were unwilling to compromise. I get it, I asked for a room and that’s what I got but I definitely changed the sheets and pillows for my own so I could actually sleep. Will always opt to pay more for cleanliness than total cost.

Put a homeless man up for a few nights when the freeze set in and went up to pay for additional nights through the hard freeze and was told by the management that he couldn't stay any longer bc he smelled too bad. This was the night before the hard freeze was expected. Heartless! According to other reviews, the place already smells and has a pest problem. I can't believe the callousness against a living person.

Quite location with Catfish Louies next door. Midrange motel and quiet for the most part but every now and then you do see that one family or couple there. Clean location and management is all about keeping their guest happy. Have I stayed there, no but no issues for the most part at this location.

Have stayed here for many periods of time. These people are very hard working and cleanliness is there top priority. Little steep living in a motel but if u have to this would be the one i recommend

1. Dead bolt didn't work and they couldn't fix it for me! 2. T.V didn't work stuck on blue screen all night! 3. Heat in room didn't work! Only worked for 2 mins then blew out cold air all night! 4. Had to wait till the roaches got done in the shower so I could take one! 5. Found someone high heel from whoever stayed here before in the room under bed! 6. Tape holding up closet rack 7. Very dusty and not well cleaned at all! They didn't even say sorry or offer my money back or to move to a clean room! They could of at least acted like they cared but didn't! I don't recommend this place to anyone at all! I was stuck with this place due to all other hotels in area being sold out! I would of rather slept in my car!!!! Rude office workers as well!
