Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Gainesville I-35

My stay was perfect. The staff was so kind and welcoming. The room was clean and comfy. I need those pillows for home!! It was one of the best stays in a hotel I have had in a very long time. The construction was not ideal but don't let that deter you. The gym, patio and pool area looked awesome, I just did not stay long enough to enjoy. Give this property a stay I do not think you will be disappointed!!!

We enjoyed our stay one thing I noticed was breakfast wasn’t till 6:30 instead of 6:00… that was only down fall..

Pretty clean, and the front desk service was great! Our room was ok, seemed as though it was missing furniture for the size. During the day the AC didn't work so well, but at night it was better. Also our sink stopper wouldn't unplug. We would've called for service and I'm sure they would've fixed it, but we weren't really in the room until late at night and we were checking out the next day. I would definitely stay again. It was only about a 7-10 minute drive to Windstar.

Do not book here!! We had been traveling all day. Thought Gainesville was a good stopping point. Booked the hotel online due to reviews and having an indoor pool. REVIEWS were wrong. Our room was dirty, full chips on the floor. Doesn’t look like the hallways had been swept in weeks and the elevators smelled like a cattle trailer. We couldn’t access the pool and the front desk clerk was no where to be found. But after looking at the pool we’re glad we didn’t get in. It was DIRTY! We didn’t get into our room until 9:30pm so it’s not like we were rushing them to get rooms clean. We stayed only because we were too exhausted to go anywhere else. The AC didn’t work properly. I'm sorry but please don't stay at this hotel the rooms are not CLEAN!! I felt very dirty when I walked in the door the rugs aren't clean. The room they gave me was 209 which I went up to which first door wasn't closing right and looked at the floor and it was nasty looking and bed sheets had a stain on it. Me and my husband left the hotel went to the casino for 3 hours and came back and checked out. There no way in hell that I was bout to sleep in that bed. Checked in on the 7th of February bout 3:10 pm and checked out on the 7th of February at around 7 pm like I said I felt dirty in the hotel and Marriott will hear about this.
