La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Arlington South

Room was dirty. There was stuff on the pictures on the wall on the top of the wall in the shower on the bed sheets. It was just really ghetto I will not be staying here again.

This was definitely a budget hotel. However, the room was clean and quiet and I had a good night's sleep. I didn't see any bugs. I had to take a pass on the breakfast because it didn't seem very much like real food. The people at the front desk were friendly.

No hot or even warm water to take a shower.. Honestly, felt like I was staying at a really cheap motel. The Guy didn’t even say sorry or apologize or Anything When we were checking out telling him we weren’t able to take showers. We asked if the pool was open when we checked in and He told us no. Well, when we got up to our room we opened up the curtains & looked out the window.. The pool was full of people swimming 😂 We go on a lot of vacations and we’re able to put up with a lot of crap. We understand people aren’t perfect and things are going to happen and it is what it is.. but not being able to stay somewhere and not be able to take showers or at least warm water was worthy of this review. This place was under construction so there were a lot of unavailable amenities. The parking lot had a lot of trash including used hyper dermic needles and broken glass. The room was very clean and comfortable. the fridge did not work, and the Wi-Fi was spotty. The breakfast was good.

I chose this hotel for several reasons. One is because it was 10 minutes away from Summit Racing Equipment which was the reason we were traveling here from Houston. The second reason is because we were traveling with our two young adult children, and both of them have a Frenchie and the hotel advertises that it is pet friendly. I personally have never traveled with pets before so I wasn’t aware of the additional charge per pet. It wasn’t mentioned during booking. The day prior to us traveling, I received a text message from La Quinta by Wyndham to do a pre-check-in to save time at the desk. I thought that was great so I took a break from work to get this done. It was here that I was told it was $75 additional charge for each pet.
