La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Oshkosh

The rooms were fine and adequate. The desk staff was not as attentive by not paying attention to who was coming in and out but rather was interested in their own conversations with other staff. The location is fine since it's along the highway, but it's tricky to get in off of the main road.

The room was clean, neatly kept and free from odors. Microwave, mini-fridge and TV all worked as expected. Absolutely LOVED the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel pump dispensors in the shower. The hand lotion dispensor mounted by the sink was a nice touch too. I was VERY impressed with their free breakfast buffet. Scrambled eggs, sausage and hash rounds all served hot and perfectly cooked. Typical waffle iron, 2 cereal choices, oatmeal, yogurt, 2 juices, milk and coffee. Didn't see a bowl of apples and bananas as usual, but they had a bowl of fruit salad with cantalope, pinapple and grapes which was a nice surprise. Outside seems like abandoned place. Weeds in rock landscape, sides looked old. Rooms are remodeled nicely. The sink smells like molding as you run water and bend down to wash your face. Dark lighting.

The GM was awesome and made our check in very enjoyable. The room was very clean and comfortable.  The breakfast was amazing and the staff was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable.  I would stay there again any time!

The staff, the rooms and amenities are Great! I can’t believe how wonderful and accommodating the management and the staff is! Every time I travel to Oshkosh, this is my go to place. The General Manager, Andre, Is a great asset to La Quinta!
