La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Missoula

Positive: Great location, good breakfast, friendly ataff Negative: Rooms were dark, outside “smoking” area is directly behind first floor rooms

The place is nice, they are renovating so the elevators are down. If you don't mind using the stairs for a little of exercise😏... The front desk lady was nice, the breakfast was great. The room was ok but the restroom had a weird smell . I had some clorox wipes with me so I cleaned around. After cleaning the smell was almost gone. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Somewhat difficult to get to from west-bound I-90. The fact the second bed was a fold-out sofa bed was not disclosed was disheartening, but the room was very nice, very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was great. Would be happy to stay there again.

Love Missoula, but staying near the freeway isn't the same experience as downtown. In retrospect I wish I had driven on. The hotel was decent, and I could walk to the neighboring restaurant(which I didn't love), I really wished I was downtown. The breakfast is great, you can tell they care about it and it was included in my stay. There were attendants there, the food tasted good for a buffet, and they were constantly replenishing the food items.

We were a bit disappointed due to the fact that we were searching for a hotel with a hot tub to soak, warm up and relax. The first thing we see at check in was a sign stating that the spa was out of order. But at least we got one of their rooms with a jetted tub so it satisfied a little. Hotel was clean and cozy. Location seemed quiet and safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. It would be a good addition to have disinfectant wipes in the gym area though.
