La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Columbia SE / Fort Jackson

Nice hotel. Clean and quiet and we were able to have our cat. My one complaint: the card reader for the external door didn't work. The parking lot is at the far end of the building and the lobby on the opposite end so you were forever walking to and from.

Great hotel. Great breakfast. Staff was nice. Literally the only thing I didn’t like was that it is so easy to pad due to the construction area in front of it, which isn’t the hotels fault. Would come again. Can’t ever go wrong with Laquinta

Overall, I would rate this stay as a 3.5 out of 5. The hotel is being renovated, and there is old furniture and mattresses piled in the parking lot. Not a good first impression. I pre-registered and when I checked in was told there was a $50 fee that would be cancelled in the morning. I tapped my credit card and the machine said it was approved, the front desk guy said it wasn’t. It took 20 minutes for him to sort it out before he said you’re all set. |My room was totally renovated and was excellent. I was impressed with the quality of the workmanship. Nice large fridge, very comfortable bed, well designed and a great shower with nice water pressure. The manager was at the front desk when I checked out and I mentioned I had issues checking in and wanted to make sure the $50 fee

Me and my wife did did an overnight stay. Honestly overall it was a great stay. The receptionist was friendly, The check in was swift and easy and I got my deposit back with no problem. Location is right next to Nick's Gyros and Seafood with Waffle House 2 doors down. No complaints hands down.

Very happy with our stay at La Quinta. We had just stayed in another La Quinta in Maryland and this one was on another level. Very clean. The room is updated. No carpet in the rooms, love that. Updated bathroom. The staff is very kind and helpful. Comfortable bed, very soft. No complaints at all, thank you to this locations staff and management for caring about the quality of the hotel, it shows!
