La Quinta Inn and Suites Fort Myers I-75

I can't say enough about how great the staff has been! Danielle was so knowledgeable about everything this hotel offers, and never minded explaining it to me. The manager on the weekends was the same way. You're greeted with a smile and "good morning" every morning. They make it feel like home. Coffee was great, breakfast too. Beds were comfortable and room stayed cold. Definitely will be back!

Positive: Location and cost were good. Breakfast was above expectation as well. Negative: We all woke up with bed bug bites just a few hours after leaving. I called the property and was told we must have gotten them from somewhere else but this is our first day of travel and we had never had anything like this in our home.

I do not recommend. My kids and I were covered in insect bites, which happened each night. The hallway always reeked of weed. There was a dirty washcloth on the dresser. The place was not very clean. My son saw a roach crawl into the mattress. The beds were comfortable and coffee was always available and hot.

The staff and location were perfect for what we needed for our trip. The rooms and facilities are a little dated but the price reflects the savings compared to other hotels in the area. We were very pleased all together with the stay.

We have stayed in many budget hotels over the past year, and this one by far was the absolute best! Starting with the friendly and welcoming staff, the cleanliness of the entire place, the comfort of our room, and the awesome breakfast, it was all great! Let me add that the breakfast room and offerings were the very best we experienced after staying at approximately 16 different budget hotels over the past year. The lady in charge was right there continually cleaning and stocking items as well. Also, typically the coffee is not great in budget hotels, but it was not bad at this hotel. One more thing, the hotel and rooms smell GREAT! It was the first thing I noticed upon entering to check in.
