Knights Inn Statesboro

We rolled up and the place looked rough, nothing like the pictures they have on Knights Inn website. We went to the front desk and asked about a room. My dad asked is it a nice room, and the woman working the desk gave him a look and said "its not a 5 star hotel". So he asked "well would you sleep in one?" and she again gave a look and said "well its not a 5 star hotel if you want to spend $400 a night then go ahead". Around this point she started to look away from us, to purposely ignore us. When we began to ask if we could maybe see a room she cut us off and told us we "were disrespecting". I told her we weren't, but she said no you are. By this point I didn't want to stay there anyway so we left and went to the hotel up the street. When the desk clerk cant tell you its an okay room t

Positive: It was available Negative: It smelled old, the tub was dirty with a burn mark on tub. And there was a bait, worm crawling towards the bathroom.

I enjoyed my stay. It was close to GSU and was in the middle of town. I enjoyed Gnatt's Landing across the street. The room was nice, clean and affordable. The front desk was nice an polite. So was the housekeeper. I mean overall I have no complaints. Amna at the front desk was helpful with overall navigating through GSU and had recommendations of places to eat. Millhouse was delicious.

This hotel can not have had an inspection in quite some time. It was absolutely disgusting. Definitely not worth the price. Took all the linen off the bed once I saw obvious stains. The top cover was flipped inside out and the stains were darker on the other side and racked of urine. The bathroom had urine around the toilet. The toilet bowl had a dark ring on the inside. The shower had not been clean in some time scum and mold along the shower walls and the tiles. The air vent was clogged with dust build up. The mirrors were spotted with tooth paste from previous guess. The only thing that was good about this room was the location to shops and food and the person who checked me in. Other than that this place was the worat place I’ve ever been to in my life.

Horrible experience. No communication, employees went against their own policy details. Checked in early Friday morning, front desk representative allowed us to check in early, while their policy states "no early check ins". He was doing us a favor, but their was no communication to let us know that we'd only be able to stay until 11am later that morning. Rude owner scamming people out of their hard earned money. Flies in the bathroom, mold in the tub walls, with old, beat up, bathtub and toilet. Room smells bad and burn holes in the sheets on the bed. Also had old blood stains on bed sheets. Kicked us out @11am Friday morning when we were supposed to have the room until 11am Saturday morning. Only got the room for not even 8 hours and got ripped out of $70 for a portion of stay.
