JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa

This hotel looked good online. They charge u extra fees when u get there. Trip.com has not remedied the problem. The resort fee is added and usppoaed to cover resorr activiities. U still have to pay for pickel ball, paddle ball some gym activities etc.. it does cover the water acticities.They nickle and dime you. Not worth the money you have to pay.No happy with trip.com

We recently stayed at JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, and it truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, it’s clear this is a destination resort designed for both relaxation and adventure. The resort itself is beautiful — lush tropical landscaping, elegant architecture, and plenty of space to unwind. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, giving us the perfect home base for exploring the property and enjoying all it has to offer. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was access to Tidal Cove Waterpark right next door. This world-class water park is included for resort guests and absolutely worth experiencing. With a massive water slide tower featuring multiple thrilling slides, a lazy river to drift along, and a dedicated kids’ area with splash zones

Worked a conference here over Valentine’s Day weekend. I must say, the service was 10/10. I felt like they rolled out a red carpet for everything… room service, valet, front desk staff. Everyone was so pleasant and easy to work with. I will say - if I wasn’t here for a conference I most likely would not book due to the expense, but for anyone visiting on vacation the water park is incredible and pool at main resort is gorgeous. Check out the history behind the tree next to the pool!

Our experience at the JW Marriott Miami was terrible from the moment we arrived. Supposedly, staff are there to help with luggage, but no one offers assistance — you have to go after them and ask. When they finally handled our bags, they threw them on top of each other, and as a result, a souvenir glass inside one of our suitcases was broken. Even though we were not in the valet line, they handed us a valet paper and immediately started pushing us to give them the car key, insisting on the $55 per day valet service. When we refused, they started talking among themselves and mocking us, saying things like: “They didn’t want to use valet, I already explained it’s much more worth it.” Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. The pool and water park area are overcrowded and full of rules

Just finishing a 5 day stay. Ive been to several JW’s and would rate the overall experience as 3.5 of 5. The property is nice, the amenities solid and I found the service/staff mostly friendly and responsive. Rooms are pretty average and in some cases in need of some updating. If you are on the golf course side….views are awesome. If on the other side views are terrible. We booked a Junior Suite that did not specify view but very picture on the website had the golf course view. We got a parking lot. We tried to move and they would not accommodate us stating they were full. I get it but the person we dealt with really didn’t give much effort to attempt to find an opportunity to move us. They gave us a $250 resort credit. It didn’t really satisfy. The golf course is decent but very overprice
