AC Hotel Miami Aventura

Stayed for a short day stay and had a good experience. The hotel is modern and clean, and the bed was comfortable. I was given an accessible room, which was interesting. The outdoor pool was nice and towels were provided. For a few hours, I can’t complain.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. On February 27, I checked into this AC Hotel in Miami with my two minor daughters after paying almost $500 for one night. From the moment we arrived, the service was shockingly poor. The front desk clerk (Mohammed, initials MSN) barely greeted us and simply asked for my ID and credit card. There was no welcome, no hospitality, nothing. When we entered the room, the air conditioning was not working. The thermostat showed 76°F even though it was set to 70°F, and the temperature kept rising until it was almost 80°F. The check in staff were not as friendly surprisingly. I tried to check in 30 mins prior to check in time with staff being rude I was there early. I can understand rooms weren’t available at that time of check in so I attempted to assume it was just a busy day and it was a stressful time. I was also pretty disappointed with the hidden fees. I called asking about the fees on my card since the room was paid due to being a business trip. But the charge on my card was more than the room itself. When answering, I explained for the first desk staff who was friendly and put me on hold.
