Worst hotel we ever stayed at! We are not picky people, usually stay at discount hotels and motels to save a buck. If its clean we are are happy. This was not! You also have to call a number when you arrive because no one mans the lobby for check-in. They show up about ten minutes later I assume from home. That means no one is ever around if you need anything. We also had someone try our door twice while in our room leaving us feeling a bit anxious and unsafe and since no one in lobby there is no one to tell. We will not be back here!

Stayed once a few years ago. Simply horrible. Don’t look up under the bed! An older ||man owned it years and years ago, and it was spotless at that time. When we stayed appeared to be a local hooker joint. No money refunded for any reason. No towels upon arrival. Dirty little office.

Spent 4 nights here at short notice when lodgings in Hudson didn't work out. Very comfortable motel accommodations. Rooms clean & well maintained. Owners friendly & helpful. Strong wifi connection (free). Microwave & fridge (probably could have gotten a coffee maker too if we'd asked). Located near shopping centers & town (walking distance if you are a strong walker). Located across the street from a gorgeous nature preserve & 5 miles of trails & overlooks above the river.

I can go into a play-by-play about how HORRIBLE (yet hilarious) my mother & my experience was at Joslen Motor Lodge but instead I’ll just give you the bullet points.||||- Our FOUR bed room was obviously not attentively cleaned considering there were leaves all over the place. BTW, there was only two of us but about a month prior to our stay, when I reserved the room, they said all they had available was a room with four beds. ||- All the food that we brought with us (and some amazing Hudson-Chatham wine, which I highly recommend) that required refrigeration was a complete waste considering I wouldn’t touch that fridge with a ten-foot pole ever again.||- We drove to Big Lots and bought candles to hide the smell of the food and new sheets, blankets and pillow cases since we weren’t even comf

We paid $400 for a week, the hotel was book ahead of time and yet i had to wait 1 hour at 5pm for someone to even come to the office to check us in. When i finally got into the place, i was told that it flooded the day before and thats why the entire rug was soaked and it smelt like mildew. He told us that he would be back in the morning to fix the issue but no one showed or even came to there own office all day. We paid extra for a kitchen but the kitchen was not usable at all. The toilet also did not work and also had a horrible smell. They had a television but told me that it did not work because there dvr box was stolen and the smoke detectors were ripped down hanging over the bed. I checked in with them knowing that i had a three year old daughter and yet they assume that this is sani
