John Carver Inn & Spa

Fun quick getaway with our kids who were 9,11,14,15. We knew hotel was under reservation when we called so were ok with it. Pool is small but fun. I liked that the hottub was 16 and over so adults could enjoy. Its raised in center of pool so you can still see your kiddos. We got adjacent rooms with 2 beds in each. Very comfy rooms and clean. When we got here we got a free goodie bag with snacks for each room. Business office was set up with kids snacks an drinks. Very considerate. Does smell like pain and lot is packed as they are renovating so sauna and restaurant aren't open. Pool water was perfect temp and so was jacuzzi. A nice quick getaway close to restaurants and dunkin!

Positive: Good location. Clean, comfortable room. Negative: My only complaint is that the Hotel Rooms are noisy. AC and plumbing/water noise from other guests can be heard quite easily.

Check-in was fast and easy. The woman at check-in was very friendly and efficient and answered all our questions. Rooms were clean, maybe had been updated during renovation within the last 6 months. Closet / storage area was big enough to hang our clothes and store our shoes and boots. Bathroom was clean, roomy and loved the mirror across the wall with extra counter space. Could have used a liner with the shower curtain so that water would not get on the floor during showering. Nice big towels. Hair dryer provided. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Refrigerator in the room, but not a small microwave. Keurig coffee pot with Keurig pods. Only complaint was when I realized there were no mirrors in the room. So when bathroom was occupied, could not do makeup or hair without a mirro

Overall had an amazing time on this trip! There was a lot of construction happening but traveling with children meant we were up before it started at 8am. The pool had an issue that needed fixing and took the majority of the day we planned to use it but we went in later in the day and had a blast. The hotel also provided pastries for breakfast and pizza for lunch as an apology for the inconvenience. All in all I would stay here again but maybe after the construction is complete. Also microwaves in the rooms would be a super helpful addition, we had to walk down the entire hallway to use the one by the vending and ice machine

This indoor water park is the perfect escape during cold weather. The slides were exciting, the lazy river was relaxing, and everything felt safe and organized. Staff members were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s a great mix of fun for kids and relaxation for adults. Highly recommend for families looking for a mini vacation without traveling far.
