Ivy Motel

Hard to find front desk I not very helpful and the rooms are rough. It's behind some construction on the one way into the parking lot so it's confusing to find it. When you do you then have to locate the front desk . You walk into a closet basically with a oneway type mirror window like it's a police investigation and wait for some one to talk to . Ridiculous at best . Then when you do get some one most of the time they are filled up. Yea ok . Parking is standard motel in a line parking so nothing special . Difficult to pull in and out of with the car lot next to it also. Prices are good for the area if you get a room after the detective want to be interrogation room test. Rooms small and clean but that sums it up.

I recently have been staying at the IVY MOTEL with my wife for over a week. We chose IVY for its reasonable fee of $45.00 a night. On our final night we were surrounded and attacked by DOZENS OF BUGS!!!!! Our room #18 to be exact was infested , these bugs crawled out from the baseboards, door gaps, wall corners and were infesting the place at a really fast pace! Me and my wife had to shake out our shoes, duffel bags, and anything else that was close to ground level because the bugs had made their way into our overnight bags! So the next morning/today 6/29/19 at check out time I decide to approach the owners about the situation.....NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY WERE HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL, VERY DEFENSIVE, CONPLETLY UNETHICAL!!! I politely asked the lady if I could be refunded and or given a free night

I had a great experience for the money. Don't expect much - but it was clean, the toilet was full size, the shower was large (no tub), and they seemed to be on the ball. It was warm for my taste because the air conditioning only helped a little, and the room was a smoking room, and smelled of it. I didn't ask if they have no smoking rooms, so I don't know. It's cash only. I would stay here again.

It was satisfactory in terms of sanitation, and the AC was splendid too, making the room cold even in hot and humid weather. But the lighting was worrisome, as it was rather dark if all lights were turned off, and not to mention that my room was barely working in the first place. And the main reason for a 3-star rating is, its not a smoke-free environment, at least I didn't find any. I believe the other guest before me didn't find one either, because when I first came into my room, it was still fresh of cigarette smoke. All in all, you get your worth out of your stay, and that's adequate enough.

They will lie. A lot. I mean lie lie lie to you. They will kick you out for no reason. Then lie about how. Follow rules. Don’t matter. Pay on time. Don’t matter. This is a terrible buisness. Don’t let me forget all keys are master keys. That’s right! Each room key opens all the rooms. Had a neighbor walk in twice on me.
