Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites St. Louis Westport

The room was partially painted, the fridge didn’t work, the knob on the shower didn’t work and the workers are lost. They charge you $20 a night for incidentals (unknown charge but required for check in) asked for confirmation that this charge was refunded and was told it depends on my bank. Never got the confirmation I asked for because the person at the desk didn’t know what I was talking about. The breakfast is nasty and the eggs are artificial the pool is not heated it’s just slightly warmer then an outdoor pool wasted money do not book this place

I was really disappointed in this hotel. They put on a good first impression, but it was all downhill from there. |*I asked for a room near our team mates, we were the only people on the first floor. |*The bathroom had been remodeled from water damage, but there was sheet rock mud or caulking on the wall paper.|*There were holes in the shower curtain and it didn't even reach the tub so every time we showered, water got all over the floor. |*My kiddo's clothes got wet, so we decided to use the iron to dry them, but the iron leaked water everywhere making the situation worse. |*The waffles had a chemical after taste. We had an excellent stay at the Fairfield St. Louis. I'd highly recommend and will stay again! Pros: 🧹Clean, modern rooms 🛌Comfortable beds 🚿Excellent water pressure in the shower 🍳Complimentary hot breakfast had plenty of options and good coffee (saved our family of four a lot of time and money during our three night stay) 👥Staff - Anita was so attentive and accommodating during breakfast! The hotel was up to date, the room was clean, the breakfast was good. The staff was reasonably polite, but not very friendly. I had no major problems with my stay. If you wanted to know, the hotel pool is a somewhat small, indoor pool. As far as amenities, my room had a mini fridge, microwave, an alarm clock with USB ports for charging your phone, and a television that was compatible with streaming tv from Netflix, Hulu, etc provided you had your own account in the first place. The AC worked well. The walls were a little thin but that’s not unusual in a hotel. I was pleased with my stay overall.

If I could give the service a 10/5 I would! Anthony, was attending the breakfast bar. The service, care, and attentiveness this gentleman provided exceeded that of some steakhouse I have been to. Anthony is a rock star and he alone would want me to stay here again. On top of that the hotel was very clean and had all the amenities needed.
