Inn On The Beach

The best StayCation we've ever taken. It's a peaceful respite from the suburbs of Ventura. It's amazing that this hotel is so close to the east end. It felt as if we must have traveled by plane to get here. Comfortable rooms, amazing kind staff, oceanfront. We loved that it isn't full of gift shops and vending machines but has a nice continental breakfast. Besides, there are plenty of those near by.

As advertised “ right on the beach”. Staff at check in and out excellent. To guarantee an oven view do no accept grout floor. We should have known better having lived ocean front… dunes build up.|Beds were excellent. Shower was super. No place to hang any towels and unfortunately they were not up to par with the shower. Great tv services and channel options. The gas fireplace in each room scored 100% with my wife, push a button for on and set the timer. Breakfast was basic coffee and pastry with cereal or fruit cups. Closest lattes were a block away. Thai, sushi, tacos and 2 pubs within half a block. All in all good ||And just a short 45 minute drive to the Reagan Library

What an amazing small hotel on the beach at the end of Seaward Avenue overlooking the islands and just down from Ventura Pier. My wife and I have lived in Ventura for 25 years and decided to have a nice staycation on the street where we enjoy lots of good restaurants. We went to bed to the sound of waves after a beautiful sunset and dinner at a nice Italian place across the street. Love the little gas fireplace that’s on a timer. The room was very comfortable and the view is amazing from the second story balcony where we stayed. Jay, the manager, was very helpful when I stopped by for their continental breakfast then we chatted about Seaward and all the things we like about this area of Ventura. I’ll be recommending this to people that visit from out of town.

Went for my Anniversary and thought it would be a great place to spend the night.It has a fireplace and good views on the pictures.Long story short there is a barrier to the beach .The patio has a barrier like at the bank.Also there is NO air conditioner.

We recently stayed at the Inn at the Beach for my wife’s birthday. I’ll start off with the fact their location is great, right on the beach, nice views. Our experience was actually somewhat not great. However, the management response to make things right not only turned us around but spurred me to write this review. They stood behind the experience and we will definitely try the hotel again. I hope next time we can give a five star review. If there were a category for 5 star management response they would get it now. I am confident that they address the issues we had. And again, the location on the beach is great. Thank you
