Inn on Charlotte Bed & Breakfast

I’m the grandma of Logan Nance. When we arrived it was late afternoon, overcast & cold Lady met us in the driveway as soon as we pulled in. She said they tried to call & tell us about the problem. My phone & my dghtrs was on reservation, NO phone call She stepped away & came back with her phone for me to talk to a man He said they tried to fix problem before we got there but would have it ready by 6:00/7:00 The room they put us in was in building next door There was only 2 feet between the bed & walls Thought, ok, this is till they move us I confirmed we would be moved He said yes Left for dinner reservations around the corner, there was lights on in the room we were to stay in Came back from dinner, not a soul there!!! Made reservations March 2025 for Jan.7,8, 2026. Showed up, all closed up! No one there. Looked on Facebook. Said taking break until Jan.7. Luckily found a B&B nearby. Left St. Augustine on the 9th. They never did open. I wanted to confront owners. PLACE IS A JOKE! Kinda glad we didn't stay there. LOOKS LIKE CRAP⁸!

Absolutely disappointed and feel scammed. We purchased a weekend getaway stay for my grandparents. When they arrived Friday the 1 person there the whole time told them there was a plumbing issue and they moved my grandparents to a small room. (Paid for king size deluxe room). My grandparents are older and grandpa is legally blind. Unfortunately the room downgrade was not suitable for there needs. They spent 1 night and came home. No one answers, no one relays messages. No refund or anything. Erica is no help on the phone and won’t put me through to a manager. There are so many better places to stay around the area! Stay away from this scam of a bed and breakfast!!!

We were 100% scammed. We booked the room over 6 months ago for a wedding and decided to make a long weekend of it since we both have busy and demanding jobs. I was so looking forward to our time away. The room was wrong and we were super overcharged. The only reason we stayed was because of the wedding and left first thing the next morning even though we still had another night booked. I will say the rooms were clean but the traditional door handle literally fell off in my hand!! Every time I attempted to speak to someone I was told the owner was not there. Shockingly… she was supposed to meet us the first morning to discuss the issues with the incorrect room and she was running late because she was dropping kids off at school…on a Saturday!! Worst Communication from this establishment! Communication non-existent. Do not book! Evidently new ownership - stayed in the past and enjoyed. We have called, emailed, texted and left messages AND spoken to someone briefly who said they canceled per our request (after initially just trying to speak to someone about parking!), however, they did not cancel and charged our card. BBB notified, DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS HERE!
