Hyatt Select St. Louis Airport

Hyatt has launched yet another new brand. I hope that part of the concept isn't to buy a hotel outside the chain and revamp it. Because that's exactly the impression I got during my recent stay at this Hyatt Select. This address is currently undergoing the transformation from a Best Western to a Hyatt. For example, the hotel sign was just installed on the day of my arrival, this is at least I was told from a staff member. I mean I don’t really complain about anything, though, because the facilities were clean and the staff was friendly. The room I stayed in was spacious, but simply furnished, and basically had most I needed for a night in an airport hotel. It just seems to me to stay in a Hyatt Place, only one level below and unready. There are not too many shops located around the hotel.

Conviennent location and nice helpful staff. Rooms were very clean and roomy for a basic hotel. This was just a stopover for us and it appears everything is recently updated with the change from Best Western. Poor lighting in the bathroom would be my only negative. Would definitely stay again. The price was amazing. Again - CLEAN!

This is a brand-new Hyatt Select, and it honestly offers better quality and value than many Hyatt Regency properties I’ve stayed at. Everything felt new, clean, and well designed, from the room to the common areas. A great surprise and an easy choice if you’re staying near the airport.

Really great staff. Good breakfast. I really liked the lobby and room. Bright, clean, modern. Staff was awesome, especially the gentleman who checked us in at about 2:30pm. He even seen me and the wife walking in from the parking lot as he was off work and rolled down his window and checked on us. Can't beat the location. Breakfast pretty much had typical hotel breakfast with hard boiled eggs, yogurt and cottage cheese, so healthy is available . My only negatives would be: 1) I didn't like the pillows. 2) the so called market place is gosh awful expensive. $4.29 for a simple Pepsi. Also it just is two gas station refrigerators with snacks and a shelf of chips and candy. They really should change the name to Snack Bar or something closer to what it is. Sorry, it ain't a market place. Wou
