As always a great experience for a sporting event. We were there for the Steelers playoff game, but also frequently stay for Pitt Football and Pirates. The location is better than any other for Acrisure Stadium (Heinz Field) access, a 5 minute walk to stadium entry. Also very short walk to many bars and restaurants. Easy in and out of the city, even on game days. Staff is always friendly and welcoming and parking is a breeze. Free continental breakfast is done well and their bar/snack counter is all you can ask for in a lower tier chain property. We generally stay at Marriott properties, but this Hyatt is our number one choice in the North Shore.

Please don't stay here. We got checked in and noticed the hallways smell very musty. We got to our room and it smelled horribly of cat urine. I requested they move us and they did. The furniture is dated (scuffed up), carpets are stained, the fold out couch sheet is dirty, the mini fridge is loud. The pool water is cloudy and filthy. My main concern - my 9 year old was taking a "not so hot" shower (the water could barely get warm) and in the middle of showering, the water turned ice cold on him. He screamed and got out quickly. We thought the location would be convenient, it's actuslly quite the opposite. It is SO loud. People yelling, cars flying by beeping, etc. Please take your time instead of quickly booking w/ this place. We are.regretting it so much.

Positive: The staff was very friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Negative: I mistakenly thought this was a newer hotel, it is not. The room is very tired with stained sofa and all the edges of the wood furniture showing scuffs where the finish has come off on the edges. The hallways were very dark.

The hotel is big, has an indoor pool. Room is very clean, bed is comfortable. Breakfast is impressive, full of simple real healthy food. The location is great, right by the stadium. It’s also very convenient to go to downtown, 10min drive can reach most location in downtown.

This hotel’s excellent location was its strongest asset, and I’ll credit the comfortable mattress as well. Unfortunately, the constant noise throughout the nights made it impossible to get a decent night’s sleep, effectively negating any comfort the bed provided. The property shows clear signs of wear and tear. Cleanliness standards were poor, and the overall condition felt worn and shabby. The fitness center had broken equipment and was oppressively hot. The hot water system is inadequate for the property’s capacity. Anyone showering after 9 AM will likely run out of hot water. The parking situation was genuinely frustrating. Without any enforcement, guests parked haphazardly in non-designated spaces, regularly blocking other vehicles. Having to track down strangers to move their cars
