Hyatt House Pittsburgh/Bloomfield/Shadyside

Nice big and comfortable rooms. The kitchen is a nice touch if you prefer to cook your own meals as opposed to ordering outside food. The staff is attentive and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again

So nasty! If you have any other options - Don't stay at this hotel! Pittsburgh is primarily leisure-driven tourism so I guess they have less incentive to promote return visits, but this Hyatt cleaning staff over achieved in the "we don't care if you come back" department! My mattress was worn, stained and dirty. My sheets and comforter were unchanged, worn and dirty. The night stand had some kind of sticky stuff on it. The bathroom was dirty. Every surface was dirty and clearly neglected. I ask housekeeping for clean bed linens. When the ONLY staff member I saw all weekend showed up at my door. He could only supply me with a few random bed coverings because they were behind on their laundry. I asked for cleaning supplies so that I could wipe the icky stuff off the night stand.

The studio king room was clean and came with plenty of cooking amenities, including pots and pans, induction cooktop, crockery and silverware. Room was relatively clean and the hot water was pretty consistent and pressure was strong. Breakfast was provided free of charge; variety was not the greatest but it tasted great and I found it extremely convenient to be able to grab coffee in the lobby.

Stayed here to go visit my nana in the hospital next door and was very delighted during this hard time to have such a pleasant stay. Rooms are clean, in a relatively decent area, service is quick, employees are kind! Amazing coffee! Amazing bar! We had so much fun at the bar, our bartender was Daj! She’s awesome! That girl had amazing customer service and made great drinks! 10/10!!

Had to have an unexpected trip for a family health emergency and got a room for the weekend. The staff was wonderful, Stern( Fedora daddy) made amazing drinks and provided a great escape after a stressful day. Thank God for Mr. Walt who saved the day and brought us plates & silverware so we could relax and eat our feelings. It was a wonderful experience.
