Huetter Lane Extended Stay!

My friend, his wife, & myself booked three nights. We needed a 2 bedroom & that is what this listing stated & how photos appeared. Upon a late evening arrival we encountered an unpleasant pungent odor, & found the place was nothing like the one in the photos. It was a different looking 1-bedroom that had an extra bed in the living room. I had a hair in my bed and the sheets didn’t smell clean. Found out the next morning my friends had hairs in their bed & they also didn’t think the sheets smelled clean. The toilet had issues that required multiple uses of a plunger. Contacted owner immediately in the morning & he asked if I wanted maid service or a full refund. I asked for a full refund and we left. 4 days later he told VRBO he would not give refund because I left food in kitchen

I've been staying in basement Unit #3 long term for a work assignment. The unit has recently been remodeled and is very clean and has all the amenities of a typical extended stay and much nicer bathroom than most places I've stayed. Long term guests are able to use onsite laundry facilities. Sid and his wife have been great to deal with and very accommodating. Sid upgraded the fridge in my unit for my long term stay. He and his wife also brought me food and checked on me constantly when I recently went through a sick spell. The location is awesome, very peaceful and quiet and near biking/running trails and the lake. The other tenants have been quiet and I haven't had any issues. I highly recommend staying here.

Had planned on staying for a full week around the CDA marathon but as soon as I walked in, the smell of urine almost caused me to puke. And, the other guests asked us if we needed any Meth. What a freaking mess! I CANNOT recommend this filthy trap to anyone, not even to my enemies. And now I can’t get all the money back that I paid. Big rip-off must avoid

Room downstairs was pretty awful with almost no windows in an high radon area - but that wasn't really the worst - what I did NOT like is that we got accused of bringing a dog and leaving the place a mess with dog hair all over which was a downright lie (there was no dog) - he even asked for more money for clean up and claimed it on airbnb which then he dropped without further apology after I had to involve a lawyer. Was pretty bad - made me not wanna use airbnb anymore but I I guess can't judge them by one bad booking...

You can book through Air BnB only. Maybe thereafter pay cash and a deposit to the operator. The building is a house converted into three separate rental apartments. Two upstairs and one basement unit. The price you find or are told does not include the very expensive Air BnB markup, yet the price for the basement unit is at $400 or so weekly. Includes a fridge, microwave, stove-top, desk, and bed. Location is away from the I-90 highway while accessible to the I-90 and Post Falls and Coeur D’Alene. They also post on the local Spokane Craigslist so you can contact the operator, yet you will use Air BnB to buy the rental. The exterior is sort of run down with fallen fencing and unkempt yard.
