Howard Johnson by Wyndham Lakeland

I enjoyed my one night stay. The room lighting was good. My bed was very comfortable, sheets smelled nice and clean and the pillows were ok. Even though I sanitized my room the room was nice and clean and I will be coming back. Front desk was nice and attentive to me checking in. Everything went smooth. If I had to rate a three is the parking.

They are very helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. They provide coffee pot, microwave and fridge. There is an iron and iron board. I would recommend this motel.⁶

Positive: check in was great Negative: room not cleaned , no fresh towels on second day. pool was not open at sunrise. breakfast was sad.. cereal and 2 % milk

The staff is so sweet no matter what time you come in (I arrive at 6am and expecting someone to be tired behind the desk but nope they where full of energy) I asked questions about my stay, and how to go about extending if needed and they where super helpful. My favorite part is when the nice lady gave me my room number she didn’t say it out loud and she just pointed on a map and explained how to get there which made me feel safe while traveling. I highly recommend and I will be definitely coming back in the future.

This is my second stay at this location and I have many complaints/inconveniences. The first stay I was there for 3 days all 3 mornings my room key was shut off and I had to go get it reactivated. The first time they had “no idea” why, the second time, we were told “we were all booked up and couldn’t tell who was still supposed to be checked in so we wiped all the cards” (they weren’t all booked I could see in the windows empty rooms) I have never been told this. I was staying with a friend and toddler, no loud music or parties or anything like that just a normal stay. This most recent time I stayed here the room I had the headboard was OLD and coming apart, I didn’t think to take a picture. But my biggest concern was that I left my room and when i returned about an hour and a half later
