Bed was clean & comfortable, shower was hot, outside pool is big and was still a comfortable temp mid-September. It’s a cool, old HoJo’s … heck, Dolly Parton stayed here back in the day when she was on tour. For the reasonable price of ~$100, it was perfect for our short stay. Lisa at the front desk was great. It is older …. But not gross or anything!

Stayed in this hotel just for a quick girls get away. Lady at the front desk was kind. A couple problems with this place though, the water in the shower doesn’t get hot at all, Lukewarm at most. Bugs were not in the bed, but in the room. And the smell of weed in the hallways is unbearable. When we needed towels. We were told the front desk does not have towels, I get it was late, but there should always be towels somewhere accessible. I get these things can be rough, however coming from a person whose family is in hotel business, I would say a couple things could be fixed.

The room was pretty clean. We checked in a little late Friday night and the woman at the front counter was super nice. The bathroom definitely needs some type of vent, looked like mold was beginning to grow on the ceiling of the shower due to the moisture. The grounds were well kept. Definitely a little pricy for the type of hotel though.

I recently stayed at Howard Johnson for work, and unfortunately, my experience was far from acceptable. From the moment I walked in, things went downhill. **Cleanliness:** The room had a musty smell and appeared not to have been properly cleaned in quite some time. I found stains on the bed sheets and pillowcases. The bathroom floor was dirty, with visible soap scum and hair in the corners. The towels were not fresh — some were stained and had an unpleasant odor. Additionally, I found a dead bug in the door frame and mildew spots in the shower, suggesting that basic housekeeping habits are being neglected. **Receptionist / Customer Service:** The receptionist was rude and dismissive from the start, continuously questioning my boss about where we worked. There was a distinct lack of empat

The front desk hotel clerk should be a bit more pleasant . The hotel room needs to be renovated . The tub is all scratched up and all. The air conditioning unit is a bit loud. I would suggest for the owner to allow for late check out even with a fee , would be acceptable or reasonable for customers. We were told too by the front desk hotel clerk that late checkout won’t be considered, except for a 30 minute extension because the housekeeping cleaning crew were less staffed and that a Baseball team are expected to check in. It didn’t seem like there were really a lot of occupants in the hotel, based on what we’ve seen at parked cars at the parking lot.I supposed , considering the hotel price rate we paid, it would be as expected .
