Howard Johnson by Wyndham Arlington Ballpark / Six Flags

First off neither entrance was easy to acess with a wheelchair. The back entrance has a narrow walkway and two large drop offs that make it hard to navigate and you have to open both doors to get through. The elevator is also too small for people with mobility issues. The room was mostly fine and clean except the door took many tried to unlock. Also they charge for a late check out but that's my fault for not checking first but ive never stayed at a hotel that charged you for wanting to stay until 12:00.

Neither of our key cards worked. We had to swap them out to get new key cards and only one of those ended up working (after several tries). The AC was very temperamental. We would set it to 74 and it would go down to 66. The maintenance guy ended up coming by and told us to set it to 78 so it would eventually land on 74. It didn't. We ended up having to turn it off and on as it just kept going below 70. There were no toiletries, other than a bar of soap. We had to request shampoo as there was none in the room. They didn't even have body wash. No extra toilet paper and only two towels. There was a leftover soap wrapper from a previous guest, so it didn't seem like the rooms were thoroughly cleaned before we got there. The fridge also turned our water to ice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Only issues were the shower head leaked a bit when in use, and the TV had vertical lines on the right side. We didn't really stay in the room too much so it wasn't a real issue. The location is great, but because it's near the highway traffic noise can be hear in the room- I would try the balcony side next time. Overall a really good experience, I would stay here again.

Positive: The two rooms were joined and the balcony. Negative: The room wasn't that clean and the coffee maker needs to be cleaned. There was Hair in the sink and on the bathroom floor.

Super quick & awesome stay over night on my way home from Colorado. Thanks so much!!! Jocelyn was amazing & welcoming. Even facing the highway in my room, it was quiet. & I could see the car. & I’m not use to having a hotel patio. So even for a night it was super awesome. & I could see 6-Flags over Texas, which I haven’t been so close to in over 12 years. Highly recommended.
