Hotel Salina Long Beach

We absolutely loved the people that ran this place. They are extremely kind affectionate in a normal way and they know how to take care of the people that stay in their rooms. We absolutely adore them and we pray God's blessing on them everyday. They saved our lives in a way because we lost our home and we became homeless because of the fire that someone started on our balcony and killed two of our dogs and all of our cats. I will always love these people forever

Got room here for my dad and his wife to stay a few days to be close to her son who lives in Long Beach. Nice room with comfortable bed and good amenities in room. |Dad had to put up a cash deposit for incidentals since I paid for room with card on Expedia already. They had to leave early for flight and forgot to get deposit back. The manager/ owner called me and let me know and sent refund back to me by Venmo to return it to my dad. Don’t see that type of honesty near as much as we should. Would highly recommend stay at this hotel for anyone in the area.

Room was dirty. I expected that. The room was cheap and you get what you pay for. I wasn't upset. However, I was asked to put down a twenty dollar deposit and was told not to smoke in the rooms. I thought that I was being respectful by smoking outside at least 60 feet from my room. When I checked out I was told that I had carried the smell back into the room and that they would be keeping my deposit. Do with that what you will. *I* however feel like they were being dishonest and I feel like I was cheated. I would not stay here again.

The rooms are a bit outdated and they are roach n bug free n clear. The rooms are just about as clean as one could get based on how old everything is some aged grime just don't wash off. I don't like how the daily rate changes based on whoever's working the window. The staff is polite but the cultural barrier makes some simple times very awkward and frustrating. Nice place deff. For the area price wise and quite.

WASTE OF MONEY! We paid $135 for a room thinking that the area & the pictures justified the price. Room was bare minimum, thin sheets & one blanket. Brown stains on the headboard, faucet didn’t run water very well, and tv didn’t initially work. We got the lady to come help us but she kept leaving the door open at night with our baby in the room. No extra towels or soap and they didn’t do room service & make up the beds. BUYER BEWARE!
