Hotel Saint Louis, Autograph Collection

Everything about this hotel was outstanding. Rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and eclectic. Hotel is in a great location and walkable to so much. We were there too short of time so did not try any food and beverage. Although Marriott products tend to be very good. Parking was convenient and the wait to get my car in the morning was not bad. We plan to return and spend more time to better experience all of the amenities the hotel has to offer.

Positive: Location is good if you'll be downtown. Our corner king room was bigger than a regular king room, but most of this is because of the extra hallway, which is not usable living space. Negative: A male employee walked into our room without knocking while I was breastfeeding my baby. Shower was filthy, hair everywhere, no water pressure. Bathroom floor was sticky. Parking is more expensive than advertised.

What a delightful gem! We LOVE the Autograph Collection and this one is a charmer. Beautifully renovated and historically preserved, I’m in awe as I turn every corner. The art and furniture are beautifully curated. The Bonvoy snack club is perfect. The staff is fantastic and the food exceeds our expectations!

We had such a wonderful experience staying here as part of a large conference group. Hosting that many guests at once is no small task, and the team handled it with professionalism, grace, and genuine hospitality. Latrina was an outstanding manager. She was attentive, organized, and clearly committed to making sure everything ran smoothly for both guests and staff. Kevin, our night auditor, was equally impressive. He handled every detail of his role with care and efficiency, and it was clear he takes great pride in his work. We are truly grateful for the effort and warmth shown by the entire team. It made our stay seamless and enjoyable.

I stayed at the Hotel Saint Louis for one night. We booked using Marriot points, and it was confirmed at both check in and check out that there were no charges for the stay. Despite this, our card was charged for the room after I left. It took 5 phone calls to the hotel and additional calls to the bank to resolve their mistake. Today, 42 days after the stay, I’ve finally been refunded for the room the hotel mistakenly charged to my card. We were initially told the charge was only a hold on the card (wrong, it was already posted). Then we were told our credit union needed to provide Hotel Saint Louis with an authorization code to get our money back; when we called with the code, we were then told they didn’t need a code from our bank, but their bank needed to give ours a code.
