Hotel Nirvana

If you’re heading to New York and want a stay that balances comfort, convenience, and cost—Hotel Nirvana in Long Island City is a hidden gem worth checking out. Tucked away from the nonstop buzz of Manhattan, it offers a calmer atmosphere while still keeping you well-connected to the city. The best part? The price. What we paid felt like a steal—budget-friendly, but the experience was more on par with a four-star hotel. It’s rare to find that kind of value, especially in New York. The hotel was clean, the linens were fresh, and we had everything we needed for a quick, stress-free stay. There’s even a gym and an on-site ATM—small details, but super handy when you’re traveling light. All in all, a solid 4 out of 5. Great spot if you’re looking for comfort without the Manhattan price tag.

We stay here whenever we visit NYC, staff is always helpful, kind, and the building is clean and well managed. It is a clean place to sleep with beautiful bathrooms and an easy Uber into Manhattan!

This, by far, was the WORST experience ever at a hotel. I had to move to a different nearby hotel so I could at least sleep and avoid the stench of weed! Bad weed at that! The Bed was extremely uncomfortable and the rooms were pretty much rented by the hour... Off the beaten track, cost me (100. 00 for Uber), NO breakfast included as stated and refunded only part of my money from cancelling. As quick as this place went up... it should come down. The staff was just alright (overwhelmed and not one bit of experience in customer service/hotel management). I should have known when I walked in the room and the remote had no batteries... If at all DON'T Do it! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

We had a great stay 💯 Our room was nicely designed and very clean. Nice proximity to the subway, which zips you to the city in minutes. The front desk staff, whom I most appreciated, is very friendly and accommodating. A convenient and economical choice for short-term and business stays.

MONEY WELL WASTED. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. The rooms are not cleaned very well, sheets improperly washed and they most likely do not use hot water as I could still have seen the stains in the sheets. And I had asked specifically for clean sheets to be given to me. Not a lot of options for their breakfast and you have to get there early before all of the options are gone. I even requested for room service to come up to my room and nobody even responded. I had to wait until they made their rounds in order to get clean toilet paper. They do not clean the air conditioners either. The unit I was using in my room for heat had gone out and ended up having to cope with the winter cold coming in from the windows.
