Hotel Louisville

I stayed at Hotel Louisville for one night and had such a wonderful experience. The front desk woman working around 5:30–6 PM on January 7th was absolutely amazing. We had a small issue with our room when we arrived, and she immediately stepped in and worked quickly to make things right without hesitation. I wish I could remember her name because she truly made our stay special. She greeted us like we were longtime friends and made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. Traveling with my service dog can sometimes be stressful, but there were zero issues. She was incredibly kind, quickly remembered both my name and my dog, and made everything feel easy and comfortable. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for the night so I could make it to my doctor’s app

Love the Cardinal Crossing Cafe! For only $5 you can get a plate of hot food. Love going for lunch. Always tasty! My favorite days are Meatloaf Mondays. The fried chicken is great, and the pizza is fantastic! Everyone is so friendly. Sammi is the best!!! :)

This is absolutely the best Hotel not only that the CUSTOMER SERVICE is above and beyond looking for my mail Tara went above and beyond looking for my mail. She was nice from the beginning. She could’ve just blown me off and said oh no I can’t find it but she actually look for it so when I say Tara is absolutely the best she is.

Served Thanksgiving lunch and Christmas dinner. Great place to spend part of the holiday if you have a family like mine. Tip: Pre lunch (1st shift) and especially lunch (2nd shift) will have A LOT of volunteers. Many more then needed, so many end up standing around a lot with little to do. I guess more volunteers eat their holiday meal in late afternoon. Dinner has FAR FEWER volunteers, so you'll be a lot busier. It makes the time go by pretty fast. You don't need to have any experience to work in the kitchen or dining room. They'll show you what to do. Area is safe and the guests really appreciate the volunteers.

This is gonna be an honest review. Yes it is a halfway home, does that bother me? No. The tenants of the halfway home were like any other guest at a hotel. You don't bother them, they don't bother you. No druggies or sketchy people or anything like that. Staff was nice and helpful. Lobby kind of smelled a little funky but that's not a huge deal. Room was clean and everything worked. Nice big king size bed. Totilet and shower were clean and worked well. Breakfast was made fresh to order and they had huge donuts that you could grab alongside them. I have seen people comparing about it being a halfway home but from my expereince of staying for 5 days, that's not a problem at all. Overall good stay for the price.
