Horizon Inn

This place was not good. They lure you in with “nice” rooms, but beware. To be fair they do LOOK nice, but that is where the experience ends. The cable tv didn’t work, the internet didn’t work, there wasn’t even toilet paper in the bathroom. I am fairly certain these are basic amenities that should be included in your overpriced room. Apparently, Horizon Inn does not agree. I am sensitive to mold and I found all of those allergy responses activated. I am not saying that it is present, but it sure felt like it is. Also, they didn’t seem to care that I am a retired veteran of 22 years who simply asked for the basic comforts of a hotel. Their solution was a $25 discount. On an $160 room. AVOID THIS PLACE. They’re just here to fleece you.

Room was a bit more than Motel 6, but I had to leave Motel 6 it was so terrible. $35/dog but the quality of the room was worth it (Motel 6 had portable ACs in the non locking windows…) $180/night with the $70 dog fee Room seemed to be recently renovated. No cable to internet 🤷‍♂️

As a Friday, there was no cable, no internet, and the guy told me it wasn't his fault. I bet you they forgot to pay the bill. It was special, but the room was nice. Pricing was all over the place. I don't know what it really was. I think they just lied to me. When I was a hundred and seven dollars

We made a reservation month and a half ago. Got a confirmation and everything. We’re there to check in after driving three hours, and an Indian dude in the window tells us we don’t have a reservation, we will not get a room, call 1-800 number and get our money back, he knows nothing, and he is not going to tell us what the problem is. There was something said along the lines the reason he doesn’t know what’s going on because it’s between an owner and a manager? I could not understand much of what was said. He wasn’t rude per se, but he was repeating the same things over and over and was totally dismissive, and we had to drive away without any reason why we couldn’t stay in the room we paid for. Very strange way of doing business.

Everyone was very pleasant. The rooms looked good and updated. Cost was reasonable. Internet not working but we really didn't need it. Tried to correct problem, but would have to contact internet provider. Thank you.
