Homewood Suites Hoover Birmingham

new hotel- so it was clean and wonderful. the staff were all very warm and helpful. great breakfast options and friendly/ helpful breakfast staff! the bed in our regular suite was very comfortable and shower pressure great. the suite had a very well stocked kitchen with a full sized refrigerator and dishwasher and range. my only criticism is that for a suite with a full kitchenette, there is really no place for two people to sit and eat together. there’s a small desk and another chair in the bedroom with a small side table. this is a design miss! overall, a great stay!

Gorgeous new hotel! This new build has amazing furnishings, and looks so updated an modern. As frequent Hilton stayers, we know that Homewoods can be a bit older at times - so this one being new was a huge perk. Big room with tons of space in the kitchen area, and a great island/table. Lots of clothes storage and also a beautiful view! The staff were super friendly and checkin and we are excited for our stay! Also... The gym... Amazing

Overall the rooms were nice but the thermostat didn’t really work and the floors were laid incorrectly so they were bubbling. For a new hotel not what you wanna see. Walls were paper thin so you could hear everything including the speaker phone conversation your neighbor had at 7am and their dog barking at 6am. When you notify the front desk they’ll respond 8+ hours later with “thanks for letting us know” after not answering the phone. Breakfast was very good and the location is easy to get to.

WE ARE SICK. The room we were given smells like toxic dump. Mix between aqua net, ammonia and urine. Within 15 minutes we both had headaches. Would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. I stayed 160 night at Hilton properties last year and none as bad as this place.

What a great new property in the area ... great modern decor, fresh and inviting. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. A great space to spend a fun long weekend! Lots of dining and shopping options in the area. Homewood and Hilton Garden shared space is great. Thanks HH
