Bally's Shreveport Casino & Hotel

Don't stay here as this place sucks. I reserved a room here and it was over booked as we supposedly got a room upgrade. What we got was a nasty room covered in animal hair and bottle caps all over the room with other trash that has been left behind. Hair from every person that had stayed here since it was called El Dorado. The bath room sink was cracked. The safe for you to use in the closet of the room had been destroyed and not useable. My wife's pillow was covered in mold stains as the one I got wasn't mold but a pink looking stain all over it. Door did not shut and seal off to help keep sound or light from entering the room and the walls are also paper thin. We where also lied to about the breakfast we did not get or anything at all food wise as the options weren't any good. They only

Positive: Nice location Negative: They put us on the 4th floor of a 14 story building. We should’ve had a beautiful view of the Red River, instead all we could see was the HVAC units atop the casino. 403 rooms, probably not 25% full and we get this horrible view room.

Never playing there again. Four blackjack tables 3 or four ones empty With a dealer, but it’s closed she’s literally just sitting there. Card shuffled doing nothing but it’s closed.. Never won shit there and believe me I’ve played and tried their machines garbage it’s nasty. It stinks and it’s disgusting overall.. Are used to love playing there I can no longer even stay in the look at it. I’m not even mad about the money I’ve spent in there. It’s the service’s garbage their managers their table managers are garbage. The last time I went. I had a horrible experience. They never even offered to comp me anything for it. Despite complaining to management about the players being staff And acting like a bunch of drunk, idiots, foul language, intoxicated, and downright rude to other players. I cu

The good, the bad and the ugly. The good, very friendly staff. Everyone we encountered was extremely pleasant. The bad... first room, dirty. The tub had a ring, filthy carpet, head sweat on the backboard of the bed...the ugly... a cockroach crawled out from behind the coffee maker. Now the good again, they did end up changing our rooms and the difference in cleanliness was night and day. It's an older property and I think staffing may be an issue, but if you just need a cool place to sleep after the casino, it is in a great location and leaving the property is not necessary. My dogs liked it and the rooms are large we had a nice view too. Just bring some flip flops for the carpet.

To start our room was as run down as I’ve ever been in. It appeared that a rodent had chewed by the refrigerator. Drawers wouldn’t stay closed. Coffee machine in the room was missing parts to adequately dispense coffee. They were so under staffed it was sad, staff looked completely overwhelmed. No restaurants except an understaffed cafe, on a Monday night. Checking out the desk clerk looked angry. Casino was so understaffed it took over an hour to get jackpot money, I felt very bad for the one person handling all of it. I’ll add the waitress was very sweet. Not sure what’s happening there, but a complete overhaul is in order. On the upside our shower was great, bed was comfortable and the bellman was very nice. We will not return to this Ballys.
