Homewood Suites by Hilton Madison West

Came here for the WPS Garden and Green Living Expo at the Alliant Center. Had a choice to stay at a hotel nearby for almost twice the price or drive a little and stay at the Homewood Suites. Chose ther latter and did not regret it. Homewood Suites by Hilton was updated and clean. Our room was large and staff were engaging and friendly. The hot breakfast buffet was AWESOME. There was plenty of parking and the area felt safe. It took us less that 15 minutes to get to the Alliant Center. I would recommend this hotel even for visits to downtown.

This is a well kept property. Most parts were updated but even the older things were in great condition. Very clean and updated TV’s in the rooms allow for streaming, etc. Highly recommend!

A superior hotel! We arrived and were warmly greeted by Nicole. The room was up to the high Hilton standards and equal to the best Homewood Suites we've frequented: spacious, clean, plenty of towels, with a great fitness center and a business center. There were only a couple of maintenance issues that were passed on to the desk: the doorknobs were hard to turn and needed a touch of oil and the television remote in the bedroom wouldn't work, other than turning on the tv. The hotel recycles, however there wasn't a separate recycle receptacle in the room. I would also recommend asking for a room on the "non-pet" side of the hotel, since some occasional morning barking was obvious. We stayed for 3 nights, so were able to determine that the pets were owned by some of the long-term resident

Our stay at this property was perfect , with one star removed for the worst bed we've ever had at any Hilton property. As soon as you laid down, you rolled to the middle. And from both sides of the bed. Please replace that mattress soon. Otherwise, great breakfast bar, pool, fitness center, clean room/lobby/elevator, etc..
