Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas-Lewisville

We hosted a multi day corporate summit at this property in January, and I want to specifically acknowledge Selina and the hotel team for their support throughout our stay. From guest accommodations to responsiveness during the event, Selina was attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in ensuring our attendees were comfortable and well taken care of. One of our guests experienced a room issue early on, and the situation was addressed promptly and thoughtfully, with no further concerns during the remainder of the stay. Our guests were happy overall, which is always the true measure of success for an event like this. DO NOT! DO NOT! DO NOT! Stay here! I cannot stress that enough. I am staying here for a funeral and this place is disgusting. I have killed two cockroaches so far in my room. My brother found one in his bed in another room and my cousin also killed one in her bathroom. I had to switch rooms one day into my stay because the smell of pot being smoked in the room next to me was so overpowering and stinking up the entire hallway. Both rooms I have been in are in complete disrepair. The shower wall in my shower is basically smashed in and water I am sure is leaking down into the drywall. The stove top in my room is not even attached to the counter and is just sitting there because the counter is cracked apart. This place is a mess!

You’re better off saving your money and staying at motel 6. Does not live up to the quality and experience that I expect from a Hilton property. When you walk in, you’re hit with a nursing home smell. Then when you get to your room, it smells like a room that’s been converted from a smoking room, but you can definitely tell that it used to be a smoking room. So many different unpleasant scents. Shower and toilet were not well maintained with large stains and corrosion/residue. When I did my bedbug check, the mattress was very stained thankfully not with blood, but that mattress definitely needs replaced…… I didn’t find any bedbugs thank goodness, but I would not have been shocked if I did I spent way more time checking than I normally would’ve checked. I booked this hotel at the suggestion of a friend. Big mistake. As a hilton honors member, I stay at hiltons everywhere i go. This one was the sketchiest. The room size is great for a family with kids. Everything else was bad. You have to trek all the way down the hall to get to an elevator to go upstairs and then all the way back down the hall to get to our room. It's like the elevator was an afterthought. The kitchen has almost nothing useful that I usually find in a homewood suites. No paper towels, no dish rags...etc. it had spoons and knives but no forks. Dishwasher but no soap. Drawer doesn't even open because it hits the dish washer. 2 very tiny trash cans so basically no where to put trash for a family. The broken plastic divider on the carpet seam caught my bare foot,
