Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas-Arlington

I booked a room at this hotel because the price was considerably lower than other hotels in Arlington. Now I know why. Upon checking in on a Monday night, I discovered that there is no internet terminal in the lobby or business center. Not everyone has a laptop. I asked the front desk clerk for a list of nearby restaurants. There wasn't one, which was surprising because this is standard at most hotels. If the clerk was on the ball, he would have pointed out that there is a restaurant literally next door, which I discovered only later. When I got to the room, there was a burned-out lightbulb behind the mirror, the box of tissues on the wall near the sink was empty, and the alarm clock was not adjusted for the end of daylight savings time. Located behind Bombshells as seen in picture from our window. The flags are from a Ford dealer across the street. Hotel was great. The rooms were clean.

Loved the suites, yes, outdated and in need of repair but they are working on it. Very clean and my room was kept very clean. Housekeeping was fantastic!||Breakfast was horrible, odd meats were added that looked very leftover (pulled chicken). I would have loved something to drink but juice was warm...get a dispenser. They advertised social night on Wednesday with food beer and wine....well food was cold and beer had to be poured into small juice cups so I had a couple "shots" of beer!

Positive: Location Negative: Very outdated, room had hair everywhere, old carpet, no towels. Hotel under construction was told they don’t start banging till around 10 am. It started at 8am. HORRIBLE STAY

Nice people but this place could use some cleaning and updating. Hair in bathrooms, dishwasher was super loud, ceiling fan in room rattles loud. We had a two bedroom two bath and for the price we paid the Hilton standard do not meet expectations.
