Homewood Suites by Hilton Augusta Gordon Highway

I asked for a late checkout the night I checked in and was told I had to ask in the AM. I did just that and was told they no longer allow checkouts. I am a Diamond member, maybe it could have been conveyed upon check in knowing we can ask for it. I even offered to pay for it... I sent an email and the GM, Brittany Reese responded with oh so sorry but we don't have to offer it as we are independent. They have listed on the website information regarding the pool for the season...why not list that or have it conveyed at check in. I could have gone somewhere else and better as the heating system is also wonky...gets very hot then blows very ice cold.

I recently spent several days at this location. I am very particular about my hotels. So, this was my first Homewood Suites stay and I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. Our room was spacious and had everything that we needed. They had a Wednesday evening Manager’s reception that had food (not just snacks), beverages (a wide variety), and games. It was a great opportunity to relax and have fun and meet the staff. The Manager Brittany was very hospitable along with the rest of her crew. They also have a traditional, hot breakfast daily which also had some great choices. We stay here for one night and we are so happy with this Hotel. Everything is so clean smells so good. Checking in and out was so easy friendly staff. Breakfast is so good. Great Hotel! Definitely coming back soon. We would definitely recommend this Hotel

Positive: I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience overall. What I liked best was the breakfast—there was a good variety of options, everything was fresh, and it was a great way to start the day. The cleanliness of the hotel also stood out. Negative: The pool needs a hot tub option and s some of the outside furniture needed an update and seemed worn.

I spend a lot of nights at this motel. Tabitha and Brittany treat me like I am family.|Ms. April always greets me with a smile at breakfast and she makes sure I have what I need. Mo one of the housekeeping supervisors is outstanding. She makes sure my room is clean no matter what shift I am working. Mo is a true asset to the Homewood Suites she is always positive and happy to make sure my stay is great.
