Homewood Suites by Hilton Augusta

Positive: Bed was comfortable and room was spacious Negative: Construction going on right above my room. Extremely loud preventing me from getting work done. Employees at the front desk could care less.

They were remodeling while I was there, so I am discounting the noise from the work, they they did stop the noise around 5 or 6 each day. 5 star on the strength of the staff who were really great to talk to. It is an older property. Rooms and service are standard for Homewood Suites. The blackout window curtains do not close all the way, which was annoying. Also, the wals are thinner that normal, so you can hear the people above/below/around you having normal conversations. Location was convenient to a ton of restaurants and the highway.

We were visiting from Arkansas and this was a GREAT home away from home! Convenient to everything, great breakfast, great room, and EXCELLENT service. From Keondra’s welcome to the entire staff always saying, “let me know if you need anything,” we felt well taken care of! This is now our go-to stay whenever we visit Augusta!

1st room had broken AC, called lobby, asked to stay in room, 96 degrees, I insisted to be moved. |2nd room had broken, sunken in, stained mattress I couldn’t sleep on, asked for a replacement mattress, the replacement is not stained, but 10 years old like the other one, very uncomfortable. Bedcovers are old mattress covers cut up, and don’t fit the bed. |The hotel told me they don’t accept my corporate card for incidental charges like a soda from the lobby, a first in all my years of travel. I was told my company would need to contact the hotel for my incidentals to be covered, their company policy. They are not very nice about how they handle my requests, I work for a global company. |The hot breakfast smells bad, not properly cooked, nobody eats it, something is definitely wrong.|||Stay

Great location, near interstate and lots of shopping and restaurants. The hotel is nicely kept , clean rooms with a full kitchen. Hotel provides with nice breakfast, Wednesdays socials with snacks and drinks . Staff is great. Recommended this hotel.
