Homestay Horn Lake / Southaven MS

The rooms are supposed to be non smoking, but they smelled like something was sprayed to cover up the smell. There were roaches crawling around in the bathtub. However, the manager did move us rooms and the second room did not have roaches that I could tell. I checked under the mattresses for bedbugs and I didn't find any. The beds were comfortable. I couldn't get the heater in the room to work. It blew only cold air. The breakfast was standard make your own waffle with eggs, bacon, bagels, yogurt, juice, cereals. The waffle batter smelled moldy and tasted like sour-dough so we didn't eat it.

I got blocked into my parking space by another guest. I had to miss the first 3 hours of work. I asked the hotel management to ask the vehicle owner to move their car and he told me it's my responsibility to find the owner get them and get them to move, or call the tow truck and let the owner know I had towed their vehicle.

Parking isn't great at all! Toilet top broken in the bathroom. Everything you need is less than a mile away: gas stations, walmart, restaurants, a VARIETY of hotels! You car hear the noise from outside inside your room. Very small hotel complex. Check in at 2pm, check out at 11am

Worst hotel I’ve stay at. My husband works out of town and I came to visit and they were rude from the very beginning when I got here and would not let me in his room even after he gave them permission to let me in. Which led me to having to get ready in the lobby bathroom with our two kids. Second the male employees have been so rude to me since the beginning. Our door died so they had to manually unlock it and almost didn’t let me in our room for the 2nd time cause my name wasn’t on the room. Since we had a longer stay I wanted new sheets and the male that cleans the rooms proceeded to yell at me cause he saw dog hair and thought we had dogs. Which I proceeded to tell him we didn’t.
