Home2 Suites by Hilton Vidalia

I had a great stay at the Home2 Suites in Vidalia! The room was clean, spacious, and really well set up. The bed was super soft, the pillows were plush, and I slept great—which is exactly what you want after a long day on the road. The shower looked newer and was spotless, and the in-room kitchenette was a huge bonus. Having the full-size fridge, microwave, and extra counter space made the room feel way more convenient and homey. The staff deserves a shout-out too— the general manager was extremely kind and helpful, and Kylie was great to work with as well. It’s always nice walking into a place where the people actually seem glad you’re there. Overall, excellent stay. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in the area!

The room is nice, spacious and clean. When we made reservation, we requested a late checkout as we were willing to pay the extra fee and out of town unexpectedly with little children for a funeral. They told me when I arrived to check with manager about late checkout before 9am. When I checked with the manager, she said no and that the space was full however, the website is showing there is available space to reserve the same room today. It seems inconsiderate and lazy as this request was submitted in advance and the hotel is showing availability.

The black lady at the desk was watching television and had a nasty attitude. The halls were so lumpy I tripped. The breakfast was okay . The WiFi wasn’t the best either . I expected better since this is Hilton.

I have to stay here for work unfortunately. The rooms are consistently dirty. Toilets, shower countertops are dirty almost every week I stay here. If possible, I recommend the Home2 in Dublin, GA...it is clean, staff is friendly.

Room was quiet and we could not hear any neighbors inside which was a very welcome surprise as you can usually hear something from neighboring rooms in other hotels. Service was basically non-existent. We were told our room would be cleaned on our second day and we would get more towels and supplies then. No one ever came to clean. Anytime I went to the lobby to ask any questions of the front desk (this also includes when I checked in), I had to wait for the front desk person to stop texting and to get up from the chair they were sitting on in the lobby and slowly walk over to the desk. And don't bother trying to call the front desk either. The phone just gives a busy tone when you hit the front desk button on the in room phone.
