Econo Lodge Vidalia

This location was ok,but the house keeper was very rude just because we asked for extra towels, she came to the door raising her voice to the point i had to basically shut the door in her face to keep the conversation from escalating ,I paid almost $200 hundred dollars for this room to be talked to this way it was uncalled for a double bed room with 2 towels is ridiculous! Don't lnow if I'll ever stay there again due to being treated this way!!!!

Positive: "" Negative: No tissue box, no ice bucket, bathroom shower rod didn't keep curtain closed. No way not to get water on floor after shower. Bathroom wall had cracks.

This hotel falls far short of basic standards. The "continental breakfast" consisted of bagged Walmart bagels with no toaster, or butter. No juice (only Sunny D). Coffee had powdered creamer instead of real cream. The kitchen area lacked napkins, forcing guests to use paper towels, and the microwave was unusable due to a missing turntable plate. There was NO toaster for the bagels either. Maintenance issues were everywhere: missing roofing materials on the exterior, pool fencing falling over, and a toilet with weeks of buildup including a brown ring that hadn't been cleaned. The only positive was an impressive front desk person, she was very friendly which hardly compensates for the overall neglect.

Awesome staff, very nice, easy to talk to, and overall pleasant to interact with, rooms feel like a mini apartment, clean and well maintained. Would recommend to anyone looking for a motel and are in the area

The Establishment was under repairs from past hurricane. The over all place could have easily been in better order, making it feel more inviting. For example, the pool. Full of nasty water, with floating debris. Only half of the hotel was open. The construction side looked abandoned. The fence around it was broken down, waiting for a lawsuit. The room, seemed clean, and was comfortable, but had signs of wear. Stains in furniture. Scratches in furniture. The walls had dings in the paint, and in the shower, above the shower head, had a peeling ceiling. There was also a small party in the parking lot, held by some road construction crew, that should have not been allowed. With other nearby options, at the same price I moved for my second night.
